We would like to inform you that yesterday (10/14) we had made the third regional (northeast) meet of Brazilian dockworkers, in Vitória – Espírito Santo State.
Agenda:
National 24 hours strike of Brazilian dockworkers. The mobilization is in order to respond promptly to Michel Temer Government treats to make alterations in dockworkers law, eliminating workers’ rights. As well against the treat of port privatization, subcontracting; changes of retirement rules, changes of the general law (CTL) of Brazilian workers, etc.
Likewise, have occurred in south and northeast regions, in Vitoria, dockworkers (of southeast region) agreed, in unanimity, to the national mobilization.
It remains only one regional meet to call, in north region. It must occur up to the end of October.
Forthwith, the three national dockworkers federations will determinate the very day of the strike beginning.
